To reserve an investor position, a prospective investor is required to make a $25,000 deposit to the Escrow account held at Chase Bank in San Diego, this deposit is fully refundable for up to 45 days as stated in the Escrow agreement, this time frame allows for due diligence.
Upon receipt of the initial deposit, you will be provided with the Offering Memorandum, Business Plan and Limited Partnership Agreement etc. and questionnaires to complete and submit to us, which gives us the opportunity to review your investor admissibility and source of funds.
Within the 45 day review period following your initial deposit you are welcome to visit to the Resort to meet with the President and review the EB-5 Visa project.
If you choose not to proceed within the 45 day review period then your initial deposit is fully refunded.
If you choose to proceed you will inform us within the 45 day review period.
If you wish to proceed with your EB-5 visa investment:
You must fund the full remaining balance. If you wish to emigrate as soon as possible, fund the $1,000,000 to enable your green card visa petition to be prepared and submitted.
*Administrative fee is separate from the project investment of $1,000,000 and constitutes an additional expense of $25,000
Caltech EB-5 Department will assist you in preparing the documents required for submission with your application. These documents will include various immigration questionnaires, backwards validation of source of funds for up to 5 years, birth certificate, and marriage license. Other issues will be addressed where necessary.
Application When your documents have been prepared these will be forwarded onto your Attorney of choice and subsequently your application/petition will be filed USCIS. Caltech Capital will if requested, provide a schedule of attorneys known to them that are familiar with the EB-5 program.
California's status as an approved Regional Center means that investor's petitions are given priority by US Citizen and Immigration Services, resulting in a faster path to approval.
